ATLAS INSURANCE MANAGEMENT

Atlas Insurance Management, a leading independent insurance management firm, provides captive insurance company formation and management services in the District of Columbia, the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands and Nevis.

As at 31st December 2007, Atlas had over 152 captives under management, including three wholly owned “cell” captives that are available for clients’ use on a select basis.

Experience

ATLAS has worked with all forms of captives including single parent, group, association, rent-a-captive, RRGs, and cell captives.

It has structured and managed captive programs for both casualty and property coverages, including warranty, workers compensation, auto liability, general liability, marine and transit and medical malpractice.

Our regulatory experience includes working with insurance regulators in multiple domiciles and we interact with many of the State insurance departments throughout the U.S.

Independence

ATLAS is owned by its senior management. This independent ownership structure removes any conflicts of interest with commercial market solutions. Captive management is our core business.

Service

We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality service to our captive clients. This commitment to quality service is evidenced by the level of experienced personnel we employ. Our insurance accountants have a minimum of five years experience in the industry, and our senior management have a minimum of ten years experience.

Innovation

ATLAS has a history of excellent client service, quality staff and innovation. We are market leaders in the creative design of alternative market programs, specific policy wordings and the use of captives and cell companies. We own and operate a number of cell captives in multiple domiciles, and our strategic liaisons allow us to offer estate and asset protection planning through a range of techniques such as offshore life policies.
